Amsterdam Talks Sex #3.5 : De Vulva

Everything that makes Sabine Meulenbeld enthusiastic as a psychosocial entrepreneur has to do with sustainable connection. Its mission is to contribute to a world where women enjoy their sexuality thanks to being women, not despite being women. She trains professionals in organizations on taboo or uncomfortable issues such as gender equality, dependency relationships and positive sexuality. In her practice, Sabine, as a body-oriented psychosocial therapist, guides people who want to feel at home in their body again after major events such as crossing sexual boundaries.

During the broadcast Sabine takes us into the sense and nonsense of the female genitals. What is the Orgasm Gap? What is sexual autonomy and how do you promote it? Why is it important to talk about sexual pleasure? Sabine asked one of her former students Nynke Daleboudt (Nynke has almost 25 years of teaching experience, in various roles, in both (special) primary education and secondary education) to join the broadcast, in order to emphasize the importance of talking about sexual fun with young people and transfer of knowledge based on the bio-psychosocial model. This is not yet the standard in every educational institution. If we properly inform young people and guide them in positive sexual development, they can grow into people who not only benefit from this themselves, but who can also pass this on to their children.
