Home, right at the square

In the former canteen of the Amstel Brewery, you’ll now find our cozy café. Feel at home in the atmospheric basement or outside on our covered terrace. Whether at the bar, on the couch, or at a table, there’s always opportunity for a chat, a reflection, or an unexpected encounter. For children, there’s a playground on the square.

Our selection consists of special products: sustainable, local, and with a meaningful story. With a cup of coffee, you support the Arhuaco tribe in Colombia, and with a Vrij Beton beer, you contribute to free spaces in the city. Our kitchen is regularly run by Peggy, who brings delicious international fusion dishes to your plate.

And don’t forget to take a look at the walls inside, where visual art from local artists finds its stage!

Opening hours

From May we are open from two hour before the program starts, until 01:00 at the latest. The summerterrace is open until 23:00.

Peggy's Kitchen

Delicious meals are available upon request. Our kitchen is only open with (sufficient) reservations and/or catering for groups.
