In Amsterdam Talks Sex belicht Handan verschillende kanten van seksualiteit door verschillende experts te interviewen met hun blik op dit onderwerp. Te gast in deze editie zijn Roula Tourgaidis en Izabela Szachniewicz.

De eerstvolgende editie van Amsterdam Talks Sex op zondag 25 april gaat over vrouwen en relaties met jongere mannen, taboes en schaamte. Te gast zijn Roula Tourgaidis en Izabela Szachniewicz. 

Het kunstwerk Ecognosis is geïnspireerd door het boek The World Without Us van Alan Weisman. Hierin wordt beschreven hoe de natuur weer alles zou overnemen en overwoekeren zodra de mens is uitgestorven.

In deze editie gaat Amsterdam Talks Sex in op het thema homoseksualiteit; Hoe sexy is het om homo te zijn?

Plein Theater start een crowdfunding en roept cultuurliefhebbers, bezoekers, buurtbewoners en iedereen met een hart voor het Plein Theater op om steun te bieden in de corona-crisis.

Drie weken terug is Plein Theater een petitie gestart en verzoekt daarmee de Gemeente Amsterdam, en in het bijzonder wethouder van Kunst en Cultuur Touria Meliani, om financiële steun te verlenen voor het behoud van het theater. De petitie is meer dan 1600 keer ondertekend.

Deze zomer zet het Plein Theater de deuren van het productiehuis wijd open! Wij verwelkomen in het PLEIN THEATER: Dayna Martinez Morales (Bolivia), die met het programma ‘The Artist is Resident’ met jou wil werken aan een installatie performance. Haar werkwijzen zijn de traditionele dansen uit Bolivia en hedendaagse dans uit Europa en West-Afrika. Dayna zoekt naar verbindingen tussen oude en nieuwe cultuur, identiteit, ritueel en transformatie.

Afgelopen 9 maart lanceerden we onze nieuwe naam en koers van PLEIN THEATER!
