Do you want to make theater and take part in a performance? Then sign up now!

Every year, the Plein Theater creates a performance for Theater Na de Dam. We are working with a select group, so this year is extra special! Plein Theater is looking for 5 young actors/musicians from Amsterdam East who are between  the age of  12 and 26 years old and want to join. We are specifically looking for young actors who also play a musical instrument, preferably guitar.

We will talk to elderly people who have experienced the Second World War, and get inspired by the Holocaust memorial on the Weesperstraat. This research is inspirational material for creating a theatrical performance in and around the Plein Theater.

The audition will take place on on March 8, 2022 from 18:00 to 19:00 in the Plein Theater. Sign Up? Send an email to femke@plein-theater.nl before January 28th, with your name, age, address, telephone number and a short motivation about why you want to join!

The rehearsal and play period is from March  15th to May the 5th .
