Feel at home in our café/restaurant next to the Plein Theater on the Sajetplein in Amsterdam East! 

Enjoy each other’s company inside, or outside on our covered terrace. For children there is a playground right next to the terrace.

Inside, it’s warm and cosy in our souterrain. This has a rich history. Built in 1871 the building has served as employees’ canteen for the former Amstel Brewery complex on the Mauritskade.

Our range consists of sustainable, local, affordable and fair products. Come taste, discover and enjoy! Together we work towards a world in which sustainability and taste go hand in hand.

Connect offline, by joining the table and eat together!

Every now and then we organize PleinTabled around cultural activities, where we enjoy world cuisine and discuss current themes. We heartly invite neighbours and interested parties to join us for a meal and join the conversation. Our source of inspiration is the rich diversity of cultures that live side by side in Amsterdam East. Do you want to bring your extraordinary foodculture into the spotlights? We are open to guest chefs and ideas for activities around art, culture & food.
