In the media // The most harpy - interview with Michela Amici (24classics)
Michela Amici is a harpist and artist-in-residence at Gaudeamus. There, in collaboration with Grachtenfestival and November Music, they devised the project Nieuwe Noten, in which young composers are allowed to write a music piece for her. Michaela is Italian and she did a master's degree in The Hague and never left The Hague after that. She has three harps and plays all kinds of music from baroque to newer music and she has founded two ensembles herself that are still very active. Michela describes what its is like to work with living composers.
