In de zomer zet Plein Theater de deuren van het productiehuis open en verwelkomt de multidisciplinaire kunstenaar en choreograaf Dorit Weintal als artist-in-residence. Samen met de buurt wordt er een interactieve voorstelling gemaakt. Doe je mee?

Als Artist in Residence krijgt Dorit, die zelf ook gevestigd is in Amsterdam Oost, vier weken lang de gelegenheid om samen met buurtbewoners en geïnteresseerden een theatervoorstelling verder door te ontwikkelen. Zij zal samenwerken met de trombonist/multi-instrumentalist en componist Salvoandrea Lucifora.

Op 4 en 5 Augustus wordt de interactieve voorstelling The Liminal Passage, die in deze zomerresidentie wordt ontwikkeld, gepresenteerd in Plein Theater en op 3 augustus is er een presentatie op de Pride Oost op het Javaplein!

Voor het maken en onderzoeken van de interactieve voorstelling zijn we op zoek naar deelnemers! De deelnemers worden als publiek op het podium betrokken bij de creatie van het geluid en de scenografie in een aantal open repetities. Performers en publiek creëren samen de 'liminale passage' op het podium. De open repetities zijn op:

In the summer Plein Theater opens the doors of the production house and welcomes the multidisciplinary artist and choreographer Dorit Weintal as Artist in Residence. An interactive performance is being created together with the neighbourhood. Are you in? 

As an Artist in Residence, also based in Amsterdam East herself, Dorit will get the opportunity to further develop a theater performance together with local residents for four weeks. She will collaborate with, among others, the trombonist/multi-instrumentalist and composer Salvoandrea Lucifora.

On August 4 and 5, the interactive performance The Liminal Passage, which is being developed in this summer residence, will be presented in Plein Theater and on August 3 there will be a presentation at Pride East on Javaplein!

We are looking for participants for the creation and reasearch of the interactive performance! The participants are involved as an audience on stage in the creation of the sound and scenography in a few open rehearsals. Performers and audience together create the 'liminal passage' on stage. The open rehearsals are at:
