Rental
Your show or event in Plein Theater?
In addition to a public program composed by Plein Theater, our theater regularly hosts (cultural) activities and (semi-)amateur and academic performances. Our theater hall can be rented for various purposes and events and is a perfect space for (small-scale) stage presentations.
Besides, by renting Plein Theater you contribute to the necessary financial space that we use to realize a various public program.

Facilities
The Plein Theater in Amsterdam East has a unique, intimate and cosy atmosphere. The theater features an theater hall / auditorium with a performance floor of 7.8 x 7.8 m and 80 seats (can be expanded to 95 seats with a row of chairs in front of the tribune in consulation)
Behind the theater is a dressing room for artists with mirrors, a toilet, a sink, ironing equipment and coffee and tea equipment.
There is a spacious foyer/café with bar next to the theater for the public. This is manned by our horeca team and cannot be rented, but organizing a get together or activity in the Eetlokaal is possible in consultation.
Plein Theater is an ideal environment for a variety of cultural, but also business and festive gatherings for groups of 30 to 100 people. Think of:
- Rehearsals, montages and performances
- Workshops, training and courses
- Presentations, lectures and ceremonie
We are happy to offer an excellent personal service, if desired with technique, ticket sales and/or the use of our piano (Schimmel Model 130T Traditional).
